Learn from a pro who plays for a living at the Jeff Coston Golf Academy. Known by his contemporaries for having one of the purest swings on tour, Jeff Coston’s experience as a PGA and Nike Tour tournament player, combined with his years of research on the “total golf game,” have given him a wealth of knowledge few can offer.
Jeff carefully combines fundamentals, athleticism, technology, and rhythm to create power and accuracy. Through his years of facilitating corporate outings, clinics, and instruction, Jeff has developed a teaching style that is both practical and innovative, benefiting the beginner and advanced player alike.
Students will appreciate Jeff’s ability to customize lessons to fit their individual learning styles, and his uncanny ability to communicate detailed golf principles in simple terms. The use of state-of-the-art video technology that helps isolate the swing fundamentals and help students achieve goals. In addition to his assistance to find your perfect swing, Jeff provides invaluable advice on course management and the mental aspects of the game that will bring anyone’s score down… way down.
Jeff was named the 2017 Teacher of the Year by the PGA of America Western Washington Chapter.

Our Coaches
Jeff Mehlert, PGA Professional
Jeff works with all skill levels to sharpen swings and build confidence on the course. His coaching starts with a quick conversation to understand your goals, followed by focused drills that improve movement and fundamentals. Jeff especially enjoys working with beginners ready to fall in love with the game.
Matt Fredrickson, PGA Head Golf Professional
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Matt has been teaching and coaching golf for 18 years, gaining his PGA “class A” certification in 2013. He was a Golftec certified coach from 2017-2018. Giving over 100 hours of instruction that year alone.
Keith Henderson, PGA Professional
With a well-rounded coaching style, Keith focuses on everything from swing mechanics and course strategy to consistency and mindset. Each lesson is tailored to fit the individual, meeting them where they are in their golf journey.
Passionate, patient, and professional, Keith works closely with students to help them unlock their full potential and enjoy the game even more.
