The
fish cannery industry played an integral role in the development of the
Semiahmoo region. Stop by the Drayton Harbor Maritime Museum — located just one
mile from the resort and a convenient stop off the beach shore path — and view
exhibits that go all the way back to 1894 covering the history of the Alaska
Packers Association. The museum is open Friday — Sunday, 1:00-5:00 p.m. from
Memorial Day through September.
Semiahmoo
